About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Research Coordinator to join our team at the University of New South Wales. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of our microbiome research project.

Job Description
  • Biospecimen Collection and Management: You will be responsible for collecting, processing, storing, scheduling, and transporting biospecimens for our research project.
  • Clinical Data Management: You will support researchers by organizing the collection of clinical data from study participants and entering relevant information into online databases.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: A relevant university degree in a field such as medical science or basic science is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in liaising with patients and/or the collection/processing of clinical samples is desirable.
  • Skillset: Basic skills in molecular biology, including nucleic acid extractions and purification, are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail, are required.
