Job Summary

The Garvan Research Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Research Coordinator to join its Philanthropy Team. As a vital member of the team, you will play a key role in identifying, researching, and analysing prospective donors to support Major Gifts, Trusts & Foundations, and Corporate acquisition strategies.

About the Role

  • Conduct comprehensive research to evaluate prospective donors' financial capacity, philanthropic interests, and giving history to inform targeted engagement strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify potential major donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and trusts.
  • Prepare accurate and timely prospect information and profiles, tracking the development process and providing insights to support the Philanthropy Teams' fundraising and acquisition activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the collection, storage, and use of donor-related data, optimising the prospect pipeline through regular reviews.
  • Track and maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and security in all data and reports to support acquisition and fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Garvan Research Foundation, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
