Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aftermarket Sales Executive to be based in Tomago, NSW, focusing on driving top-line sales growth for our Aftermarket division. This full-time role will involve regular travel throughout the region, and you will have the flexibility to choose your hours and days.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within assigned sales territories, market segments, or channel partners.
  2. Understand customer needs and priorities, offering Cummins solutions and executing account plans for top prospects, and conducting agreed-upon face-to-face sales calls.
  3. Negotiate according to company guidelines, including payment terms, and assist with collection of accounts receivables when needed.
  4. Drive sales, achieving financial sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining and strengthening customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
  5. Develop and execute sales tactics for various segments using data collected, documented in the CRM tool, aligned with the sales strategies as directed by the Sales Leader.
  6. Manage sales pipelines proactively to plan for successful execution of sales strategies and produce sales forecasts.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A technical/mechanical background with a sound understanding of engines/electrical, with Aftermarket experience being highly desirable.
  2. Previous sales experience in a similar role is preferred.
  3. World-class communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and develop new business.
  4. Demonstrated customer service experience and a proven track record of developing relationships to drive sales.
