Production Resource Group (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to lead our Music sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing revenue, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and margin goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, designers, production companies, venues, and events.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including credentials pitches and closing key new accounts.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to establish and achieve annual budgets for revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to serve key and major accounts.
- Participate in deal desk conversations and close large show-based transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or project coordination in the live music, concert touring, and music festival sectors.
- Proven track record of revenue growth and sales success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of current trends and advancements in event and entertainment technology.
