Role Overview

We seek an experienced First Nations Practice Lead to provide cultural leadership and guidance in delivering high-quality services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review initiatives and workplans with leadership teams
  • Represent us in relevant networks and chair groups as required
  • Provide cultural supervision to staff and support others to build cultural capability
  • Analyse and interpret client and program data to ensure evidence-based practices that improve outcomes for First Nations clients
  • Review practice and supervision materials to ensure they are evidence-informed, inclusive, and culturally appropriate

About You

You're a culturally grounded leader committed to improving outcomes for First Nations peoples. You bring experience and professional expertise in facilitating cultural knowledge, practice development, and workforce capability building.

Requirements

Lived experience as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; relevant undergraduate qualifications; understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, cultures, and service needs; effective communication skills; strong relationships-building skills; competency in reporting, data analysis, and using IT systems.
