Regional Business Development Manager

This role marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for our Regional On Premise Manager (ROPM) position in the NSW region, commencing in 2025. As the primary representative of our brand in the market, you will lead a team of 8-12 Sales Representatives, including 2 Field Coaches, to optimize sales, brand presence, and awareness across the On Premise channel.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving profitable growth through strategic partnerships, direct customer engagement, and efficient distribution solutions.
- Collaborating with the State Leadership Team to develop national and state consumer marketing campaigns, enhancing the brand's relevance in targeted occasions.
You will be the face of our brand in the market, fostering strong relationships with customers and industry partners while maintaining exceptional image standards within the team. Your leadership style will inspire confidence and motivation, promoting a positive work environment and driving results-oriented performance.
As a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales and people management, preferably in the beverage industry, you will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with a strong history of success.
- At least 2 years of people management experience, ideally in a similar field.
- Tertiary education in business, marketing, or a related field (desirable).
- Familiarity with the On Premise trade industry, including established connections in the hospitality and event sectors, or the ability to establish these quickly.
- The ability to adapt communication styles, being extroverted and comfortable approaching people, while possessing a genuine and contagious 'can-do' attitude.
- Strategic commercial acumen, including a solid understanding of sales processes and financial systems.
- Strong planning, analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Clear comprehension of markets, sales, distribution, consumer behavior, and competitor activity within the FMCG context.
- Presentation and communication skills, including selling, negotiating, training, coaching, and active listening.
- The capacity to work independently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with flexibility to accommodate nights, weekends, and occasional out-of-state travel.
