**Job Summary:**

Australian Barnardos Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join their team. This role will involve assisting individuals with daily activities, providing emotional and social support, and supporting clients in developing independent living skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Provide emotional and social support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Support clients in developing independent living skills.
  • E nsure the health and safety of clients while adhering to individual care plans.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in providing disability support, preferably in an individualised or community based setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care.
  • A minimum of Certificate 3 in Disability or relevant field.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
