Disability Support Professional

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Australian Barnardos Recruitment Services.
As a leading provider of disability services, we offer a range of opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that involves providing individualised support to people with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing disability support, preferably in an individualised or community-based setting, and will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
They will also be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and will have a compassionate and patient approach to care.
A minimum of Certificate 3 in Disability or relevant field is required.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting individuals with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Providing emotional and social support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Supporting clients in developing independent living skills.
- Ensuring the health and safety of clients while adhering to individual care plans.
- Experience in providing disability support, preferably in an individualised or community-based setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and patient approach to care.
- A minimum of Certificate 3 in Disability or relevant field.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
