Disability Care Specialist

About the Role:
A Disability Support Worker is required to join our team, providing care services for individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to continuous improvement of care services.
- Promote independence in everyday activities and skill development.
- Advocate for individuals' rights and needs.
Role Details:
This role will involve assisting individuals with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and meal preparation. You will also provide emotional and social support to enhance clients' quality of life, support clients in developing independent living skills, and ensure the health and safety of clients while adhering to individual care plans.
Requirements:
- Experience in providing disability support, preferably in an individualised or community based setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and patient approach to care.
- A minimum of Certificate 3 in Disability or relevant field.
