About All Saints' College

All Saints' College is a co-educational year 7-12 Catholic School, part of the Maitland Newcastle Diocese system of schools. With approximately 1200 students and 185 staff learning and working across 2 campuses, we are the largest school in our diocese and one of the largest Catholic Schools in the state.

The Junior Campus caters for our year 7-10 students, and the Senior Campus caters for our senior students in years 11 and 12. Our college prides itself on a strong presence in the Maitland community with a well-established Catholic tradition which includes a deep association with the local Parish community.

About the Role

This permanent part-time (28 hours per week) position is available in 2025. As an Educational Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers to ensure each child has the opportunity to grow both academically and spiritually.

You will support the promotion of the school as a place of learning and excellence where creativity and curiosity are nurtured and students are connected with their world through deep learning and engagement.

You will provide support and assistance in school routines; classroom activities; and the care and support of students with disability under the direction of teachers.

Requirements
  • Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools
  • Experience working with students with disability (K-12)
  • Demonstrated ability to work under the direction of a teacher, and in collaboration with school staff, CSO staff, and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively administer assessments, and deliver interventions, under the direction of a teacher
  • Demonstrated ability to implement adjustments required for individual students and groups of students
  • Experience in supporting student enrolment and transitions, under the direction of a teacher
  • Knowledge about the relevant Disability legislation and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data
  • Evidence of excellent organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
Conditions of Employment

The salary for this position is $74,995 - $87,311 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position also offers a corporate fitness program, employee assistance program, training and staff development programs, paid parental leave, and access to long service leave after five years.
