Job Description

We are seeking a Pacific Region Operations Director who will be responsible for managing our hotels in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. This role requires a leader with at least 5 years of experience in hospitality operations in the Pacific region and 10 years of experience as a hotel General Manager.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems in the Pacific region, representing our brands in various forums to develop visibility, notoriety, and results. You will also be responsible for maintaining corporate relationships with owners, owning companies, investors, asset managers, and hospitality advisors.

You will oversee operational strategic project development, accompany and support business development strategy for the region, including sourcing and actively supporting new hotel developments. The salary for this position is approximately $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in hospitality operations in the Pacific region
  • At least 10 years of experience as a hotel General Manager in the Pacific region
  • Able to manage complexity and operate with a high level of autonomy
  • Inspiring and motivating leadership, collaborative, results-driven, and organized
