Nokia Group is seeking a seasoned Government Affairs Specialist to lead our engagement with state and local governments in Oceania.

This critical role will support the company's business objectives, technology thought-leadership, and brand purpose in the region. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of government departments and ministries in Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and executing Nokia's advocacy strategy, influencing policy and regulatory environments, and positioning the company as a trusted advisor in the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with key government stakeholders to support Nokia's business objectives
  • Developing and executing advocacy strategies to influence policy and regulatory environments
  • Positioning Nokia as a trusted advisor in the region
  • Working closely with country management teams to create country-level strategies and vision

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of operational experience in government affairs, corporate affairs, or senior-level experience in complex geopolitical environments. A graduate education in public policy or law is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
