Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team in the Pacific region.

This role will be based in Sydney and will involve working at least three days a week in the office. As a key member of the Marsh Pacific Finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to senior management through detailed financial analysis and data-driven insights.

This role will report to the Marsh Pacific Finance Director and will work closely with Finance and Marsh Pacific leadership on financial planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Marsh Pacific CEO and the executive team to ensure alignment on key financial initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director to forge direction and delivery, and partner with Finance Business Partners to drive business outcomes.
  • Take responsibility for reporting, analyzing and explaining Marsh Pacific financial performance, including ensuring the business receives robust KPIs to run the business.
  • Lead the budget process for Marsh Pacific, understanding opportunities and threats and build credible plans to deliver profitable growth in line with targets.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance and International Finance teams to ensure Marsh Pacific performance is well understood.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of Finance experience in a global, highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of operating models across insurance, insurance broking and advisory firms preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, forecasting and budget experience.
  • Action orientated, delivery and outcome focused.

What You'll Get:

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career growth within our organisation.
