Job Title: High-Level Support Specialist

About the Role:

ACM Recruitment Pty Ltd is partnering with a government division to offer a fantastic 13-week contract opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant. The primary focus of this role is to provide high-level executive support to the General Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the General Manager, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including senior government officials and private sector representatives.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential matters, coordinating follow-up actions with discretion and initiative.
  • Oversee the General Manager's diary and broader team schedules, managing appointment requests, resolving diary clashes, and prioritizing urgent or sensitive matters.
  • Arrange travel logistics for the General Manager and the team, including itineraries, flights, accommodations, and briefing materials.
  • Handle incoming correspondence and inquiries, determining the appropriate course of action to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Welcome and host the General Manager's visitors, creating a professional and hospitable environment.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings and events, including venue coordination, catering, and distribution of materials.
  • Prepare and draft correspondence, reports, agendas, and minutes, ensuring all documentation meets the General Manager's requirements.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience providing executive support in a corporate or government environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in administration or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through practical application.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Salary: We are offering a salary range of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
