The Role

This Support Services Coordinator role plays a critical part in our non-clinical services team, working closely with ward staff and coordinators/supervisors to ensure efficient patient transfers and equipment movement within the hospital. As a Patient Transfer Specialist, you will operate as part of our committed, safe, and socially responsible multi-skilled team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the portering service in providing and maintaining a safe, efficient, and least disruptive transfer of patients and equipment.
  • Perform tasks allocated by relevant ward staff and non-clinical support services coordinators/supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with other Support Services team members to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • A background or experience in waste management.
  • The ability and adaptability to participate in change.
  • Completion of or willingness to participate in training and education to improve skills required for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum.
  • 5 weeks' annual leave.
