The Role
This Support Services Coordinator role plays a critical part in our non-clinical services team, working closely with ward staff and coordinators/supervisors to ensure efficient patient transfers and equipment movement within the hospital. As a Patient Transfer Specialist, you will operate as part of our committed, safe, and socially responsible multi-skilled team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist the portering service in providing and maintaining a safe, efficient, and least disruptive transfer of patients and equipment.
- Perform tasks allocated by relevant ward staff and non-clinical support services coordinators/supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with other Support Services team members to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- A background or experience in waste management.
- The ability and adaptability to participate in change.
- Completion of or willingness to participate in training and education to improve skills required for the position.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
What We Offer
- An estimated salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum.
- 5 weeks' annual leave.
