About the Role- Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Australian market, aligned with global and regional goals.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and operations.
- Drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and key partnerships.
- Represent the Australian business at the regional level, ensuring strong collaboration with the Asia headquarters.
- Manage P&L responsibility and optimise operational efficiency.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, retailers, and industry partners
- Formulate and implement strategic plans to grow the business
- Oversee the Sales department and ensure performance targets are met
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities
- Ensure company goals align with the needs and requirements of the consumer base
- Manage budget allocation and resource distribution
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Key Responsibilities:
The successful Head of Country will have:
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the FMCG sector, ideally within food products and or snacking categories.
- Strong sales and marketing background with a proven track record of driving business growth.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing high-performing teams.
- Experience reporting into regional or global headquarters, with the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L and delivering on business objectives.
- A hands-on, results-oriented approach, with the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Relevant educational qualifications
What We Offer:
This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary package: $230,000 - $280,000 AUD per annum, plus an additional 20%+ target bonus. You'll also enjoy stimulating work in Sydney with a supportive team and the autonomy to shape the operations and company in Australia.
