Job Overview

A highly experienced HR Business Analyst is required to work on a state government project focused on modernising the recruitment and selection process.

  • Lead business requirements and workflow design for recruitment process improvements.
  • Collaborate with employment delegates, HR staff, and business teams to gather insights and translate them into actionable system enhancements.
  • Identify automation opportunities using platforms like Springboard or PowerApps to streamline approvals, documentation, and candidate communications.
  • Evaluate all process improvements against departmental goals, compliance standards, and workforce strategy initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven business analysis experience in HR and/or public sectors.
  • Experience in designing HR processes, implementing automation, and working with HR technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment practices, candidate experience, and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience in government environments is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive process improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, technology, and compliance regulations.

Benefits and Working Conditions:
  • $77.02 - $82.40 per hour
  • Contract up to April 2026, possible further extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
