Job Opportunity: HR Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Analyst to work with our state government client on the Recruitment and Selection Priority Project.

  • Lead the design, documentation, and refinement of business requirements and workflows to support recruitment process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, HR staff, and business teams to gather insights and translate them into actionable system and process enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow integration using platforms to streamline approvals, documentation, and candidate communications.
  • Ensure all process improvements align with departmental goals, compliance standards, and workforce strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate stakeholder insights into practical system and process improvements.
  • Drive automation and ensure alignment with departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, ideally within HR and/or the public sector.
  • Proven capability in designing HR processes, implementing automation, and working with HR technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and selection practices, candidate experience, and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience working within government environments is highly valued.
Benefits:
  • $77.02 to $82.40 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor).
  • Contract up to April 2026, possible further extension.
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
