Job Overview:

We are seeking a professional to oversee the coordination of ocean freight shipments and provide exceptional customer service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with customers and service partners to ensure seamless operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ocean freight processes and be able to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate ocean shipment bookings and prepare accurate documentation
  • Liaise with customers, overseas agents, carriers, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide proactive updates and solutions to customer inquiries, enhancing overall satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships to support ongoing growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and service delivery

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in ocean operations (import & export) and customer service within freight forwarding
  • Solid knowledge of CargoWise and ocean freight processes
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset and high attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
