We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Department of Justice. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide high-level administrative support to our program, including reception services, meeting coordination, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to program staff, including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and other logistics as required.
  • Provide support for events, conferences, and other activities, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
  • Assist with budget preparation, financial reporting, and other financial tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a government or public sector agency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
