Role Overview

The Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB) is seeking a dedicated Corporate Receptionist to join their values-driven organisation. This role serves as the initial point of contact for clients, delivering comprehensive administrative support to Claims Officers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone enquiries and receive visitors at MAIB's reception.
  • Provide clients with general information and advice on the claims management process, or direct them to the appropriate specialist for more complex claims management issues.
  • Offer comprehensive administrative assistance to Claims Officers, including data entry, scanning, payment processing, and word processing.
  • Provide general office support services.

Requirements

  • Advanced communication skills with a strong emphasis on client service.
  • The ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and manage a variable workload.
  • Proven capacity to apply analytical, decision-making skills, and negotiation skills, and apply appropriate judgement, initiative, and discretion.
  • Demonstrated capacity to actively participate within workplace teams and contribute to change management.
