Director of Risk Management

**About the Role**
As an Associate Director at Macquarie, you will lead a team responsible for reviewing and validating key financial and risk models used by the organization. This includes performing validation for risk models designed to comply with regulatory frameworks such as APS116, APS117, and APS210.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team in reviewing and validating risk models to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Market Risk, Prudential Risk, Group Treasury, and the FRTB project team
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks
- Provide guidance and training to team members on risk-based model validations
- Partner with stakeholders to influence favourable outcomes through effective communication and negotiation skills
**Requirements**
- Extensive experience in risk management and regulatory compliance
- Relevant qualification in a quantitative discipline
- Good understanding of financial markets and key risk factors for financial products
- Ability to lead a team and provide guidance and training
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
