Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively enhance good governance practices ensuring identification and remediation of risk and strategic issues.
  • Lead a diverse team of governance and legal specialists in a dynamic emergency services environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize outcomes of legal matters and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to improve governance practices.

About You:

You are an experienced leader, accustomed to motivating a team to deliver a diverse governance and legal service with a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills and strategic vision.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience.
