Our 80 staff, supported by hundreds of volunteers, work together to assist over 20,000 people each year.

We offer a range of services including legal advice, support, and education. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.

We are looking for skilled professionals to join our team as Management Committee members. These individuals will play a key role in shaping our organization's future and ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality services to those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities

The Management Committee meets approximately eight times annually to discuss strategic planning, governance, and other important matters. Members are also expected to be part of at least one additional sub-committee and/or lead a particular project in addition to their general role.

As a member of the Management Committee, you will have the opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to help drive our organization forward.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of equity, inclusion, and community need. You should also possess strong judgment and integrity, as well as strategic thinking skills.

In addition, we are seeking candidates with experience or expertise in areas such as philanthropy, social enterprise, fundraising strategy, corporate partnerships, grant-making, responsible technology, digital strategy, outcomes measurement, data analytics, client-centred service models, quality improvement frameworks, human-centred design, governance, risk management, health/mental health, human services, communications, finance, community development, and cross-sector collaboration.
