Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team at Lawson Elliott. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll processing for all employees.

About the Role

In this role, you will efficiently handle payroll-related inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally. You will also generate regular and ad-hoc reports that detail payroll service delivery, adherence to compliance and various regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing for all employees
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Generate reports on payroll service delivery and compliance
  • Understand and apply payroll compliance, practices, procedures, operations, and legislation
  • Onboard new employees
  • Calculate and process termination payments as necessary
  • Oversee expense payments and manage reconciliations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3-4 years in payroll operations within a high-performing organisation. Outstanding organisational skills, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
