Document Coordinator

At BESIX Infra, we are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Qld construction team, working on the large-scale Ipswich Hospital Expansion project.
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled individual to work in a collaborative project environment, managing all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing, and archiving of documents and drawings received. Maintaining registers including materials registers, drawing registers, and files.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing project documentation using industry-standard systems
- Assisting with QA coordination and document control - ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan
- E nsuring compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Policies and procedures
- Providing general project administration support to the team as required
- Preparing monthly reports as required
We offer a competitive remuneration package of approximately $90,000 per annum, plus well-being days, awards, recognition program, wellbeing program, corporate discounts, social events, and family days.
The successful candidate will require:
- Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry
- Strong administrative skills, including preparation of general correspondence, filing, document control, minute taking, and office management
- Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, and ability to learn new software packages as required
- High level of organisational and time management skills, and demonstrated attention to detail
- Prior experience with Aconex is highly desirable
