Document Coordinator

Job Summary
BESIX Watpac seeks an experienced Document Controller to join our Qld construction team, working on the large-scale Ipswich Hospital Expansion project.
As a key member of the project team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing and archiving of documents and drawings received. They will also maintain registers including materials registers, drawing registers and files.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry, strong administrative skills, and a high level of organisational and time management skills. Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required. Prior experience with Aconex is highly desirable.

About the Role
The Document Controller will be responsible for:
- Managing all project documentation using industry-standard systems.
- Assisting with QA coordination and document control - ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan.
- Ensuring compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Providing general project administration support to the team as required.
- Preparing monthly and other reports as required.
