Senior Document Coordinator for Large-Scale Construction Projects

BESIX Watpac, a leading construction company in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Senior Document Coordinator to join their team on the Ipswich Hospital Expansion project.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing documents, maintaining registers, controlling project documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate document control processes to ensure accurate and timely distribution of documents to stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date registers and files, including materials, drawings, and other critical documents.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure adherence to project quality plans.
- Develop and implement effective document management systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Provide administrative support to the project team as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in document control or a related field, preferably within the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Prior experience with Aconex or similar document control software is highly desirable.
