Job Description
BESIX Watpac are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Qld construction team, working on the large-scale Ipswich Hospital Expansion project. Working in a large collaborative project team, the key responsibilities of this position include:
Managing all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing and archiving of documents and drawings received. Maintaining registers including materials registers, drawing registers and files. Controlling all project documentation using industry-standard systems. Assisting with QA coordination and document control - ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan. Ensure compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures. Providing general project administration support to the team as required. Preparing monthly and other reports as required.
Qualifications
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:
Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry. Strong administrative skills including preparation of general correspondence, filing and document control, minute taking, and office management. Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required. High level of organisational and time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail. Prior experience with Aconex is highly desirable.
