Job Title: Document Controller
BESIX Watpac is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Qld construction team, working on large-scale projects. The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing, and archiving of documents and drawings received.
- Controlling all project documentation using industry-standard systems.
- Assisting with QA coordination and document control - ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan.
- Ensuring compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Providing general project administration support to the team as required.
- Preparing monthly and other reports as required.
Qualifications:
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry.
- Strong administrative skills including preparation of general correspondence, filing, and document control, minute taking, and office management.
- Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
- High level of organisational and time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Prior experience with Aconex is highly desirable.
