Lion, Fremantle's iconic venue is seeking a visionary Culinary Director to spearhead culinary operations across two distinct kitchens: Cherub Hall and The Loft by Little Creatures & Co. You will be responsible for leading, inspiring, and managing two high-performing kitchen teams, driving innovation and consistency in menu development, and collaborating with venue leadership to deliver unforgettable dining experiences.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development and Leadership

Develop and oversee menus for Cherub Hall and The Loft, reflecting their unique concepts and audiences. Lead and mentor two kitchen teams to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across both venues.

">Team Management and Operations

Manage kitchen operations, budgets, and supplier relationships. Collaborate with front-of-house and operations teams to ensure seamless service.

">Food Safety and Quality

Maintain exceptional food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Chef or Culinary Director in multi-outlet or concept-driven venues.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Deep understanding of modern Australian and Asian cuisine, with a flair for wood-fired cooking.
