About the Role

We are seeking exceptional Sommeliers to enhance our team and provide an unparalleled wine experience. Ideal candidates will possess a deep passion for wine and a commitment to outstanding service. This role is hands-on, emphasizing direct interaction with guests.

Available Positions

We have openings for:

  • Assistant Head Sommeliers
  • Sommeliers
  • Junior Sommeliers
  • Wine Waitstaff

These positions are available across all LUCAS venues in major cities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings as a Sommelier or Wine Waitstaff
  • Fundamental knowledge of local, national, and international wines
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the wine industry
  • Outstanding service abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • An engaging personality with a keen interest in daily operations
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • WSET or CMS certification or equivalent is a plus
  • Availability for a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays
  • Full Australian work rights
