About the Role:
We are in search of passionate and skilled wine professionals to enhance our exceptional wine service. This position requires a hands-on approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. We have openings for various roles including Assistant Head Sommeliers, Sommeliers, Junior Sommeliers, and Wine Waitstaff across our venues.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting as a Sommelier or Wine Waitstaff.
- A solid understanding of local, national, and international wines.
- A genuine enthusiasm for wine and the hospitality industry.
- Outstanding service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and an outgoing personality.
- The flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- WSET or CMS certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Availability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Full Australian work rights.
