About This Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our close-knit People Advisory team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR advice and operational support to our colleagues and leaders across the Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Mentor and provide advisory support to people leaders on all operational HR matters, including performance management, employment relations, HR policy and process interpretation, workforce/resource planning and technology.
  2. Provide first-level advice and support on all HR policies and processes to our colleagues, being the face of the HR Connect Pacific team.
  3. Work as a team to assist the HR Consultants with ad-hoc employee-related matters that may arise.
  4. Contribute to the development and management of People Organisational policies, processes, ensuring adherence and understanding across the business.
  5. Provide navigational support on HR systems and tools for the Pacific region, as well as content management for HR documents.
  6. Be the primary contact point and relationship manager with the HR Global Operations support team based in Poland and the local HR team, including administrative process delivery and improvement initiatives.
  7. Work flexibly across all HR projects to deliver operational excellence – national or Pacific scope.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in a HR generalist role.
  • Experience in handling and resolving sensitive and complex Employment Relation matters (investigations, mediations, etc).
  • Experience in executing and implementing change management initiatives.
  • Exceptional client orientation and customer service skills.
  • Exposure to using Workday or similar cloud-based HR system would be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • A degree or other related HR qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
  • The ability to adhere to procedures and processes, while using your initiative and thinking creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders from all levels.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different situations.
  • Passionate about growing their HR skills and career.

Estimate Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum + Superannuation
