About Us

Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) is a leading Australian retailer with over 150 stores across Australasia. The company operates iconic brands such as Spotlight, Anaconda, and Mountain Designs.

As an Operations Manager - Retail, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and achieving departmental KPIs. You will support the Store Manager in all aspects of the business, prioritizing customer experience and leading by example.

Sales Growth and Departmental KPIs

You will be responsible for achieving sales growth and meeting departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This will involve analyzing sales data, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategies to drive sales performance.

Customer Experience

Prioritizing customer experience is critical to our success. As an Operations Manager - Retail, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.

Leadership

You will lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and inspiring your team to achieve excellence. You will also be responsible for managing high-volume stock and ensuring that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • BIG retail experience
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced store environment
  • Experience with high-volume retail sales and stock management
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of 10+
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum based on location and experience
