About the Role

At Allens Operations Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Facilities Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations team based in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Facilities Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our premium tenancy and ownership of the client floor.

Key Responsibilities

As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and performing all aspects of the physical setup of the client floor, including the opening and closing of operable walls, installation and basic maintenance of furniture, fixtures and equipment;
  • Setting up meeting rooms and function spaces with furniture and providing assistance with office moves;
  • Assisting the Catering team to prepare spaces for our staff and clients;
  • Problem solving and assisting with maintenance requests relating to security, cleaning, air conditioning and general maintenance;
  • Coordinating and completing occasional administrative tasks related to the operations of the tenancy such as access cards, organizing servicing for machinery, adjusting workspaces etc;
  • Working with the Facilities Manager on WHS related tasks and providing support for fire safety and evacuation training.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, various stakeholders and vendors;
  • An ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment;
  • Resilience and enthusiasm, with a strong sense of pride in your work;
  • Knowledge of WH&S principles;
  • Sound knowledge of Word and Excel;
  • Previous experience working in a Facilities Management team within a corporate or professional services environment is advantageous but not a requirement;
  • A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
