About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Pricing Leader to join our Pricing & Practice Economics Team (PPE) at Allens Operations Pty Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a hybrid working arrangement of 60% in the office.

As a Strategic Pricing Leader, you will contribute to the development of pricing infrastructure for the firm, support bid teams with pricing and negotiation strategy, and review commercial terms and manage client pricing arrangements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of pricing infrastructure for the firm.
  • Support bid teams with pricing and negotiation strategy for panels and tenders.
  • Review commercial terms and manage client pricing arrangements, liaising with clients' procurement and legal operations teams where required.
  • Assist partners and lawyers to respond to requests for estimates or proposals, including designing and implementing alternative fee arrangements.
  • Use pricing tools and financial models to assess profitability and support and influence partners with pricing decisions.
  • Support the Innovation & Digital Solutions team in pricing of legal technology services and products, and implement strategic initiatives that drive improvements in efficiency.
  • Assist with the management, training, and development of Pricing Managers and Pricing Analysts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a background in law firm pricing or pricing in another professional services environment, strong stakeholder management skills, and experience in bid and tender processes.

You will also have experience managing others or a team, proficient Excel skills, the ability to think critically and solve problems, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong presentation skills.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
