Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Taylor Root Dusseldorf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and business-focused legal advice to our leadership team and stakeholders
  • Advise on complex legal matters, including family law and privacy issues
  • Draft and review contracts, as well as provide general corporate and commercial advice
  • Represent or coordinate representation of the organization in family law courts and tribunals
  • Support our leaders in navigating legal issues arising from operational matters, including compliance with court orders
  • Provide legal input on strategic, governance, and administrative matters, and source and manage relationships with external providers where necessary

Ideal Candidate

  • Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand
  • 5+ years of experience with a reputable firm and/or in-house
  • Experience in family law is essential, and privacy law experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work confidently with people at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
