The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented graduate lawyer to join our legal team at Taylor Root. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, briefing papers, and internal policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify causes and devise solutions for a wide range of legal matters.
  • Support the development of compliance frameworks, governance structures, and systems to manage legal risks effectively.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation, and legal record management.

Ideal Candidate

  • Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand.
  • 1-2 years paralegal experience.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and legal research tools.
