Business Development Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our B2B business in the Trade and Commercial sector.

As Business Development Manager, you will develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities, and leverage relationships to bring incremental sales into the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the growth of our B2B business with a focus on the Trade and Commercial sector.
  • Expand our customer base and grow revenue with existing customers.
  • Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities, and leverage relationships to bring incremental sales into the business.
  • Drive the end-to-end sales cycle - align on strategy with senior leadership, then own prospecting through to close.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
Requirements:
  • Experience in wholesale business development in interiors, homewares, lifestyle products, or a similar market.
  • A history of proactive new business generation.
  • Some exposure to online channels; experience selling to a customer base that is online/offline or has an online component.
  • Tenure: demonstrated commitment in previous roles, with a patient and persistent approach in sales.
