Small Business Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales and growth initiatives for a portfolio of small business customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners to create and act on new business opportunities.
  • Manage and execute Salesforce opportunities and national leads.
  • Increase the bank's presence in the market and undertake retention activities for existing customers.
  • Perform credit analysis and approve temporary excesses or increased limits.
  • Coach, lead actions and role model great behaviors across the organization.
  • Manage lending and product requests for small business customers.
  • Understand customers' business needs to provide holistic banking solutions.
  • Grow the number of MyBank customers within the portfolio through interactions and referrals.
  • Accountable for managing customer complaints and escalations until resolution is reached.
  • Coach and develop less experienced bankers within the team and associates.
  • Drive customer portfolio risk and compliance.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders (retail, partners and other business partners).
Required Skills
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in a lending role.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and the credit process.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Problem solving, time management, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
