Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to join our Liability team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a leading insurance company and make a meaningful contribution to our customers' lives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving complex liability claims across the Australia/New Zealand region. They will work closely with our customers, brokers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional claims service and achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex liability claims, including public liability, product liability, and professional indemnity claims.
  • Investigate, assess, and determine liability and quantum in accordance with Zurich's policies and procedures.
  • Drive effective claim resolutions through proactive negotiation, mediation, and settlement strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Law, Insurance, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ANZIIF, CIP) desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of liability insurance, including legal principles, policy interpretation, and claims resolution strategies.
  • Sound knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to liability insurance in ANZ.
  • Strong background in managing large and complex claims portfolios.
  • Proven examples of a customer-centric approach to delivering claims services and exceeding expectations.
