Commercial Contract Specialist

This key role supports the CFO and external Legal Counsel, overseeing commercial contracts with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review legal terms, negotiate and execute commercial contracts.
  • Lead client and supplier negotiations to secure favourable contract terms.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards for all contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract understanding and adherence.
  • Work closely with outsourced legal providers for comprehensive support and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documents.
  • Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Business Administration, Legal Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a paralegal or within a legal department of a multinational organisation.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders, negotiating legal terms, and drafting agreements.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
  • Excellent written, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
