Culinary Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at JRM Hospitality.
The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in ensuring exceptional dining experiences, overseeing daily kitchen operations, and maintaining food and labour costs within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef with inventory management, ensuring food quality, menu development, and adhering to hygiene and portion control standards.
- Maintain food and labour costs within budget, minimizing wastage, and empowering the team with regard to efficiency and innovation.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance culture through strong leadership.
- Bring creative input into the kitchen.
- Experience with stock management and ordering is a must.

- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Full working rights within Australia.
