About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Executive Sous Chef to join our 4.5-star hotel on the NSW South Coast. With 200 rooms, multiple dining outlets, and a reputation for excellence, we offer the perfect setting for a culinary professional looking to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of 3 kitchens, including restaurant, bar, café, and room service, ensuring high standards across all areas.
  • Manage a large brigade, supporting the Group Culinary Director in driving culinary innovation and maintaining consistency.
  • Lead high-volume conferencing and events, including weddings and corporate functions, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage costs and ensure food quality and safety standards are met.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within high-volume, multi-outlet environments, demonstrating strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a large team.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a hands-on approach to kitchen management, with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
