We're seeking a skilled Category Growth Specialist to drive sales plans and deliver commercial insights in the Melbourne Metro Region.
This exciting opportunity will see you build strong relationships with customers, execute plans, and secure ranging and promotional support for our iconic brands.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing on-shelf availability through supply chain knowledge, identifying in-store growth opportunities, and interpreting category insights.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with commercial strategy and channel goals.
- Build effective relationships with store-level staff to drive inventory decisions and secure impactful product displays.
- Lead new product and promotional planning to ensure in-store standards and staff readiness.
- Drive new business opportunities and execute commercial initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Supply Chain Understanding: Ability to influence On Shelf Availability through knowledge of the customer supply chain.
- Sales Growth Identification: Skilled at spotting in-store growth opportunities and implementing plans to improve execution.
- Category & Data Literacy: Capable of interpreting and applying category insights during customer interactions.
- Effective Selling & Negotiation: Able to conduct persuasive sales conversations, handle objections, and use negotiation techniques.
- Retail Maths Proficiency: Comfortable using retail math in discussions to support selling strategies.
