About the Opportunity
">Florida Tech's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in cybersecurity, starting August 2025. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Assistant Professor or other levels will be considered. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background and research experience in applied cybersecurity.
About the Role
The selected candidate will teach various courses in computer science and engineering, develop new programs in cybersecurity, and engage in collaborative research with faculty members. They will also contribute to departmental service, including advising students and participating in curriculum development.
About the Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a closely related field. A proven track record of teaching, research, and industry experience in cybersecurity is essential. Applicants with expertise in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, web security, assembly programming, and mobile/wireless security are highly preferred.
