Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and flexible casual workers to join our growing team. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with disabilities in a residential setting. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Person-Centered Support: Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Fostering Independence: Encourage residents to participate in recreational and social activities, promoting social connections and meaningful interactions.
  • Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensure the living space is clean, organized, and safe for residents.
  • Recording Progress and Incidents: Maintain accurate and thorough records of daily activities, progress, and incidents.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for supporting people with disabilities
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
  • A valid Australian Driver's License
  • A current CPR & First Aid certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
