About the RoleJob Summary: We are seeking a reliable and flexible casual support worker to join our team. As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered support to adults with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Household Management: Maintain a clean and organized living environment by assisting with household chores, laundry, and other tasks.
- Recreational Activities: Plan and facilitate recreational and social activities that promote social connections and meaningful interactions.
- Support and Advocacy: Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents, promoting their rights and dignity.
- Qualifications: Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work, or equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check: Possess a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid Australian Driver's License.
- First Aid and CPR: Hold a current CPR and First Aid certificate.
