Job Overview

My People Solutions is seeking a Disability Support Worker to fill various roles in the Melbourne metro area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with adults with disabilities and be committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide support to clients with diverse needs, including disability-related health support requirements. Responsibilities may include personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, and promoting independence.

Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Dementia, and Behaviours of Concern will be highly regarded.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are essential.
  • A current Police Check, Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR, and First Aid certification are required.
  • Driving Licence and access to a reliable car are mandatory.
  • Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and/or Mental Health Care Qualification, or equivalent are preferred.
Working Conditions

Shifts can vary from 2 hours per day upwards, depending on skills and experience. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work across the Melbourne metro area and be part of a supportive team that values integrity, honesty, and reliability.

Compensation

We offer great pay rates, weekly payroll, and ongoing support, training, and development opportunities. You will also receive induction and be part of a 24/7 support system with a duty manager always on call.
